I am often asked «Do you have the right to speak your mind, don’t you?» And, frankly, no. And that’s really what’s a huge problem for South Africa in terms of the people that live there. Honda 2001 in Uganda
It’s not that they haven’t spoken out about it or I didn’t get the chance to go there at one point. You know what? I went there. I talked to my kids. It’s not that difficult, but you can’t always sit there talking about it with somebody who doesn’t speak their mind.
This book is all about having the right to speak out, and that is something that has to change as much as a couple of new technologies are making it possible. One is the phone, and the other is the Internet. One has a camera, and the other has a radio. And when the two come together, they will have an open-ended mission to share ideas and ideas and ideas so that they can communicate on a single platform.
And I’m very confident that to me it will happen. (laughs)
In the end it will have to be an enormous operation, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think the government will give in. It will be a huge investment in the future.
